you still can't see the relevant menu entries (the "people" entry and the "persons" and "groups" subentries) as a group owner (for example)

how do we handle groups with a group type with managed_by_app_label set – like the automatically created types from the school structure management feature?

and shouldn't it be possible to enable group owners to also see child groups (and their linked information like their members) of groups they own? think of class teachers wanting to check something related to a course group of their class
