Assorted and legal stuff

Name of the software

“TIC-Desk” is an anagram of “Teckids”, which was expanded as a backronym to “Teckids Information Centre Desk”, which is an aanagram of “kids, teams & cicerone frontend kit”. Don’t ask.

Authors

TIC-Desk was developed as a replacement for the command-line tools used prior to TIC-Desk, mainly by Dominik George <dominik.george@teckids.org>.

Contributions were made especially by Tom Teichler <tom.teichler@teckids.org>, who also helped testing the software.

Licence

TIC-Desk is distributed under the MIT Licence.

While probably not particularly useful as is for others, using ideas from TIC-Desk might be possible. Also, all changes by others that make the software more universal are happily accepted.
